Chronic Anxiety
When we experience anxiety for
prolonged time periods and on a persistent basis, our brains become use to
anxiety. This results in the increase of anxiety where it rises to dangerous
levels. This is called chronic anxiety, an intense form of anxiety where people
look out for potential threats and anxiety-triggering stimuli where none
exists. Some people become used to anxiety and accept it as normal. They do not
realize something is wrong and become patients of chronic anxiety. This can
also lead to other dangerous mental disorders like depression.
